Arguably, one of the most famous aspects of Cannes is the shopping.
You may think this is reserved for the rich and famous, however
there is more to Cannes than the designer stores on the Croisette.
Cannes is a shoppers paradise and along with the main stream stores
has many small streets with individual boutiques.
LA CROISETTE This long promenade hugs the
coastline and is home of the designer brands on the Cote D'Azur. Here
you will find all the famous clothes and jewellery boutiques including
Dior, La Croix, Chanel, Boucheron, Bulgari, Cartier, Ralph Lauren,
Fendi & Gucci to name a few. Even if you are not shopping, its fantastic
for window shopping, people watching and generally soaking up the
elegant atmosphere.
RUE D'ANTIBES The Rue D'Antibes
is the 'Oxford Street' of Cannes. It runs the length of the town, parallel
to the Croisette. Here you will find a plethora of shops to suit
every shoppers needs including clothes stores, jewellers, household
stores and many of the French pharmacies. Here you will find Banana
Moon, Zara, Sinqanone, Julian et fils, Martine Foubert and Madura.
RUE MEYNADIER At
the Western end of Cannes you will find this street heading towards
the old town. The cheaper shops are located here; you are sure to
find yourself a bargain or some beachwear. There are also many
tourist shops for picking up souvenirs of Cannes.
RUE
COMMANDANT ANDRE This is a fantastic little street for unique
individual shops selling clothes and jewellery. Particular favourite;
'Vanille' is an Aladdin's Cave brimming with beautiful silver
jewellery and accessories.
