MARCHE FORVILLE

The Forville market is without a doubt the best in food market Cannes, if not the best in the region. Sellers and local producers come here every day (except Mondays) to sell the most fantastic produce the region has to offer. If you like food, and appreciate French produce, its a must. Along with beautifully displayed fresh fruit and vegetables the stalls sell cheese, cold meats, eggs, olives, fresh pasta, fish and flowers. The middle aisle is dedicated to the 'producteurs' where local farmers and tradesmen sell their own produce, all home grown or hand made and brought to market each day.

At the western end is the flower market, its hard not to be amazed by the colours and the variety all at such low cost. It makes you realise how much we get ripped off in the UK!

The food and flower market takes place Tuesday - Sunday and is finished by midday.

On Monday's the Forville becomes a Flea Market known as Marché Brocante, if you are interested in vintage jewellery, paintings, books and object d'art its worth having a browse around.
