CAR HIRE
The studio is situated in the centre of Cannes so there is no need for a car, but if you want to explore the Cote D'Azur and go on a few road trips, in my experience the following companies are the most reliable for pick up from Nice Airport.
For the cheapest basic cars go to www.sixti.com
If you want an affordable automatic car, I would recommend National Car www.nationalcar.com
If you are flying with Easyjet, do not be tempted by their offer of cheap car hire with Europcar. The queues can be over a hour long at Nice Airport, and you can waste half a day.

TAXI
Allo Taxi, Cannes Tel: + 33 (0) 8 90 71 22 27
Cards can be found in the studio. A taxi to and from the airport is typically 75 Euros each way, or I can arrange a private driver for 70 Euros each way. If you need a taxi during a very busy festival or congress its best to book in advance.

BUS
The cheapest way to get from Nice airport to the centre of Cannes. The buses are located to the left as you exit the airport marked CANNES in bold on the front. A single journey costs 14 Euros and it will drop you off by the train station; a short walk from the studio. Map
Buses to other destinations can be caught from the Bus station located near to the old port. Map

TRAIN
We all know the trains in France are better than those in the UK. You can take the train to many destinations on the Cote D'Azur cheaply and efficiently from Cannes Station; they turn up and leave on time. Its the best way to enjoy the coastal scenery without the scary cliff side roads by car. Map
However, you can't get a direct train from Nice Airport to Cannes - how annoying. You have to take a bus into Nice and get the train from there.
